Greetings from The Sophisticatedly Ratchet Podcast! We are an eclectic ensemble of five vibrant millennials hailing from the pulsating heart of culture and creativity, New York City. We gather around the microphone to entertain our tribe with candid conversations, insightful observations, and explosive laughter. As we traverse the complexities of dating, the nuances of relationships, and the vibrancy of lifestyle, our perspectives often oscillate between hilarious and profound. Our fingers are always on the pulse of Black culture and current events, exploring them through our unique lenses to bring you conversations that are as enlightening as they are entertaining. Our mission for each episode is simple, yet profound - to Educate, Entertain and Inform. We delve into topics with authenticity, intellect, and wit, aiming to spark conversations that inspire thought and provoke dialogue. And, oh yes, we strongly believe that “life is too short for bad sex”!

Peace, peace, peace Tribe! Welcome and thank you for coming back for another hearty serving of The Sophisticatedly Ratchet Podcast, giving the real in a world of fake.
“I'm black y'all, and I'm black y'all and I'm blackety black and I'm black y'all”! And in honor of Black History month, we at Sophisticatedly Ratchet want to big up our heroes and showcase iconic black figures worthy of praise. Please join us as Flash the Philosopher leads the team in moderation and talk about how we celebrate Black History month, discuss the importance of self-education and showcase their tempestuous* experiences of Harriet Tubman (American abolitionist), Martin Luther King Jr (Activist), Mary J Blige (Artist), Phillis Wheatley (author), Lewis Latimer (inventor), & Frederick Douglass (American abolitionist). Knowledge is power and we want to spend Black History month sharing power about our people. Pull up a chair, tune in and join the circle as we talk our shit!
